In 2020 and 2021, we had special restrictions for camp due to Covid-19.
In 2022, we had newly taken down a wall in our classroom space, giving us more room for campers! This was a very exciting change!
However, as we did in 2022, we will still have an enrollment cap of about 15-18 kids for an optimal teaching environment.
We will follow any recommended policies and guidelines for Covid-19 that are in place during the time camp takes place, which may include campers being asked to generally stay in their own 'space' throughout the day, and limiting the materials that need to be shared.
Masks may be recommended and encouraged at times, but not required. If there are campers with extra health concerns, we ask that you let us know so we can arrange seating and plan accordingly to care for the health and safety of all our campers.
July 31st - Aug 4th
Speaking of gardens, this week we will delve into the discoveries of Gregor Mendel: genes, hereditary traits, DNA, and how Mendel used peas to figure it out!
August 7th-11th
Lion King fans - this is the camp for you! This week we will go on an African Safari and learn all about the animals and plants of the African Savannah.
August 14th-18th
We will listen to music and view art from multiple different time periods and compare the differences between each. Is it Bach or Beethoven or Brahms? Delacroix or Degas or Dali? With art projects and listening games along the way, by the end of the week we'll know the answer!
August 21st-25th
Do you love a good mystery? Want to practice your detective skills? Let's all channel our inner Sherlock (or Enola) Holmes and solve some mysteries!

Our camps are based on the educational practice of literacy-based arts responses. Each theme is introduced through stories and then explored further through arts and play based responses. It is grounded in arts education and literacy education theories. But don't let that official sounding explanation throw you off!
Our goal is to let kids have fun while exploring exciting topics. From a kids-eye view, we read and talk about stories and engage in a variety of art and stem projects and activities each week. We keep a consistent routine and allow kids time to relax throughout the day. While fun and interesting, it is also an engaging educational environment.
